Join us for the Global Progressive Mobilisation (GPM)
The first Global Progressive Mobilisation (GPM) meeting will take place in Barcelona, Spain, on 17–18 April 2026, bringing together political leaders, activists, thinkers, and representatives of progressive parties and movements from all continents.
Conceived as an open political process, the GPM offers a common space where all participants engage as equal partners, across regions, movements, and generations, united by a clear commitment to democracy, the rule of law, social justice, tackling climate change, and international cooperation.
You can now register to the event.
We look forward to welcoming you in Barcelona.
About the GPM
Born from the 2025 PES Congress in Amsterdam, the idea for the GPM was shared by PES President, Stefan Löfven, Spanish Prime Minister and President of SI, Pedro Sánchez, and President of Brazil, Lula da Silva.
The upcoming first edition of the Global Progressive Mobilisation in Barcelona will be a moment of collective construction which will foster common reflection and coordinated action on key challenges of our time – from peace and international law to the defence of democracy and fundamental rights, from a just green and digital transition to fair economic governance and humane migration policies
